Frequently asked questions

Fees and Payment?


Deposit: There will be a $200 deposit to book out the stylist. In Salon Payment: We send out an email the Tuesday of your wedding week to remind you of your final balance. For final payment we can send out an electronic invoice or you can call and pay over the phone. Hoilday Services: We do take weddings on Holiday's. Due to the salon not being open on Holiday's it will be an additional cost to book appointments on a Holiday since we are out of our business scheduled hours. Sunday Services: We do taking weddings on Sunday's. Due to the salon not being open on Sunday's it will be an additional cost to book appoinments on a Sunday since we are out of our business scheduled hours. Hoilday and Sunday Trail Run Pricing: Hair: $150 Makeup: $150 If you are booked for a makeup or hair service on a Holiday or Sunday, you have until the day before (Saturday) to call The Color Bar to pay for your services in advance. Assistant Fee: There will be an automatic assistant fee added, if you have a wedding party more than 5, OR you have limited time to get ready. Travel Fee: Any on location wedding outside of the 25-mile radius of The Color Bar Salon we do charge a travel fee. If there is a cost a fee to park, go through tolls, and a valet fee, you will be responsilbe for paying all accommodations. Travel Expenses: The Travel Fee is .75 cents a mile round trip. Out- of - State Fee's: If you would like to send out team to out of state, you will be responsible for paying for all accommodations for the trip. This includes booking/arranging flights, car expenses (whether it is a rental or uber.) Hotel expenses etc. Late Arrivals: If anyone in the wedding party arrives more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to perform their service depending on the stylist following appointments. Tardiness may be cut short or the service may not be performed, however the original amount will still be owed. No Shows: If anyone in the wedding party does not show up, they will still be responsible for the original payment. Cancellations: If Cancellations are made more than 45 days prior to the event date, there will be a 50% refund of your deposit. If Cancellations are made less than 45 days, there will be no refund issued.




Do You Require a Trial Run?


Yes. We require the Bride to have a trail run done with their stylist/artist prior to their wedding date. This helps make your wedding day smoother, so you and your stylist/artist are more comfortable.




Does My Hair Need To Be Washed The Day Before?


Depending on your hair type (you know your hair better than we do) all we require is that you show up with clean dry hair. NO WET HAIR




Is The Trail Run Included?


Once you sign our wedding contract and pay our wedding desposit, your hair trail run will be complementary. If you would like to schedule a makeup trail run (which is highly recommended) you will be charged.
